Scottish River will find this more his level after failing in Listed company last time, but he has been done no favours by the draw, while Vanderlin, who has been in cracking form this term, has no easy task off a 4lb higher mark, than when he was runner-up last time. Krugerrand, a good sort of colt, is far better than he has shown so far. He has every chance of reversing the form with Rafferty on 7lb better terms, after a far from trouble free run at Chester and can take this en route to better things. Rafferty is an improving colt, but he may have to play second fiddle in this.
