Marsad has more to do here off a 5lb higher mark, but he does handle the track and should not be discounted. Antonio Canova, a progressive individual last year, will not find things so easy this time round. He goes well fresh, but has been done no favours by the draw. Seignosse has been in good early season form, but is now some 10lbs higher than when he gained his first success this term at Ripon. Drawn in stall seven, he will be hard to keep out of the frame. Course and distance winner Currency, is well place in stall two but he normally takes a run or two, before he comes to hand.
