    Verdict

    ROYAL FLEET hasn’t raced since landing a Group 3 contest at Meydan in February but has every chance on these terms and his stable is in fine form. Cadillac has switched yards once again but is penalised for winning a Listed race in Ireland in June while the front-runner Peter The Great struggled in Group 3 company at Haydock having earlier landed a couple of handicaps. Sinjaari steps back up on distance though yet to win at this level while Rousay has plenty to find at the weights but that was also the case when winning a Listed race at Salisbury last time.

    Peter The Great 16-1 (9-7) Disputed lead, led after 2f, driven when challenged over 2f out, headed and weakened from 2f out, eased close home, last of 10, 29l behind Anmaat (9-7) at Haydock 1m 2f Grp 3 stks (1) gd in Aug.

    Royal Fleet (9-3) won at Meydan 1m 2f Grp 3 stks gf in Feb beating Star Safari (9-4) by shd, 12 ran.

    Rousay (IRE) 13-2 (8-10) Pressed leader, pushed along over 2f out, ran on strongly, disputed lead final furlong, led close home, just prevailed, won at Salisbury 1m 2f lst fll stks (1) gf in Aug beating Rose Of Kildare (9-4) by nk, 7 ran.

    Sinjaari (IRE) 5-1 (9-5) Held up in mid-division, ridden and switched left over 2f out, stayed on well, 3rd of 4, 3 1/4l behind Tempus (9-5) at Salisbury 1m Grp 3 stks (1) gf in Aug.
