      Verdict

Evocative Spark landed the odds at Beverley with the minimum of fuss but has been raised 12lb for his trouble. River Pride is 10lb higher than when successful at Salisbury earlier and stablemate Bosh makes more appeal having placed at Newbury on his reappearance. But ALOTAIBI also went close on his return to action and handicap debut when beaten less than a length over course and distance and the Gosdens’ charge gets the vote to go one better. War In Heaven ran well again when second at Ascot while Gisburn Wonderful World ended last year with victories over 6f.
