Verdict

Path Of Thunder folded tamely in the Victoria Cup at Ascot while last year’s runner-up Tomfre would prefer some cut in the ground. Documenting returns to action with a chance and Oo De Lally will be sharper for last month’s reappearance. NORTHERN EXPRESS (NAP) won over track and trip last summer and has gone close in both starts so far this year. He finished ahead of Another Bat at Thirsk last week and another bold bid is expected. Admiral D has won twice over 6f in Ireland and debuts for Richard Fahey’s yard on his return to action.
