MONOTYPE ran in a Group 3 at Newmarket in July after winning his maiden over 1m4f at Doncaster - he should go well over this longer trip on his return. A winner here in September, Scrutinise would prefer softer going but First Mohican ran well behind higher rated horses in a conditions race at Chelmsford last time and a visor replaces his more usual headgear. Notarised scored over 2m at the latter track in March and won over course and distance last year while Montaly and Kinema are usually thereabouts at this level without being good enough. Cayirli has had just the two starts since arriving from France and we may not have seen the best of him yet.
