At A Great Rate, Bin End and Brunston are the three to focus on here in a small field but where the quality is fairly high, with Henry Cecil's AT A GREAT RATE taken to continue his yard's fine run. Bin End ran well to be a close fourth in a competitive York handicap last time and is turned out quickly here off the same mark. He looks well treated and is lightly raced, so open to further progression. Brunston beat Bin End's York conqueror, Barwell Bridge, but is now 5lbs higher. He has since been beaten at Newbury, but that looked a decent affair and it would be no surprise to see him in the shake up. At A Great Rate upset an odds-on favourite at Nottingham recently with a gap back to the third. Reportedly working well before that success, she had finished in mid division on her Newmarket debut behind the hot Oaks fancy Sariska, which inevitably worked out well. At A Great Rate may be well handicapped and can score again.
