A wide open affair rounds off proceedings and many have chances on there best form. However we will take a chance on Welsh Wind. The gelding from the Michel Wigham yard was a good second behind Everset last time and a reproduction of that effort could make him hard to beat, the booking of Frankie Dettori also catches the eye. George Stubbs rates the main danger he was a fair third behind Didn't Tell My Wife last time and the step back up to a mile is sure to suit. Summer Recluse is another that could go well but his best form is over a shorter trips. It's Our Secret was a fair third behind Alincala and is sure to strip fitter here, any further rain would also aid his cause. Concer Eto ended the season in fine form last season and he goes on any ground but he has never won off a mark this high before and he will needed to have improved through out the winter to score off this mark. Only Penman is another worthy of consideration despite top weight with the booking of Darryll Holland catching the eye. Of the remainder Dayglow Dancer is from a yard in form and is worth a cautionary look in the market especially if there is a lot of rain.
