        Verdict

        Lingfield winner Barye is quickly shuffled down the handicap having made little impression on his first Turf start but Lewis Walsh is a fair booking and it could be worth chancing that his Newmarket run was simply a bad day at the office. But Amanda Perrett's team is beginning to hit form so TEMPLATE could be up to winning this. The gelding appeared not to stay at Sandown last month and, with this trip holding few fears, there is a strong likelihood of him securing an uncontested lead. Jack Garritty has already ridden two winners for Andrew Balding this term so Scoppio Del Carro is watched closely in the market on his handicap debut. Castle Combe ran far too keenly at Leicester though he made his debut in a hot maiden at the track last term and is not without claims. Hedge End has shown her best form on Polytrack but she was far from disgraced on a previous visit to Goodwood.
