    Verdict

Storm The Stars won this last year en route to being placed in both the Epsom and Irish Derbies but there is a disappointing turnout this time. ALGOMETER's run behind Midterm in the Classic Trial at Sandown was devalued by the winner's run in the Dante but David Simcock's colt still looks the best option given he'll strip fitter here. Ormito stayed on late to finish third in the Chester Vase but Prize Money is having a first try at this level having finished second in a Newmarket handicap on his reappearance, though has only had two runs. Speed Company is more exposed but has won three of his five starts and looked ready for a step up in distance when fourth at Newmarket.
