Golden Dynasty is preferred to Captain Cloudy and Jacaranda. Golden Dynasty has been called a few names in the past but Travis Block managed to engineer a winning run from him at Epsom a couple of days ago. The handicapper has not gone overboard about that performance and on favoured going, he has to be here with a favourite's chance. Captain Cloudy managed to break his maiden on his 35th attempt. His new trainer, Sheena West has to take the credit for it and it will be interesting to see if the Captain has turned over a new leaf. Jacaranda put up a fair effort in a recent Pontefract race. He has to have things very much his own way but he could not have a more in-form apprentice aboard tonight. Desert Island Disc has had a disappointing season and cannot be backed with any confidence. Head To Kerry is watched in the market while Sovereign Spirit is an interesting runner having ran much better at Southwell than his finishing position might suggest. Not a gem of a race by any stretch of the imagination but an obvious chance for Golden Dynasty to follow up recent good work.
