        Verdict

        L'Etacq should improve for his fifth at Salisbury and is the choice of Richard Hughes but there was a lot to like about stablemate STEP TO THE SHEARS' third here last month. He was doing his best work at the finish so the extra furlong should suit. The Dapper Tapper was only beaten a neck at Brighton so also goes on the short-list while Twin Turbo should prove a lot better than he showed on debut at Carlisle. Red Rebel is the first foal of a mare who was placed twice over 6f but he has no fancy entries.
