The progressive Lady Georgina makes plenty of appeal in this company and edges the vote over Ephesus and Idle Power, who have both been in fair form of late and, along with Samuel Charles, make up the main body of the opposition. The selection, who hails from the back-to-form yard of James Fanshawe has been well placed on handful of occasions this season and confirmed her potential when winning over this trip at Lingfield in good style last month. There is little to split Ephesus and Idle Power on their efforts this term and, as both handle these sort of undulations in their races, they can be expected to give a good account of themselves here. However, they are both a little frustrating on occasions and, as they lack the scope held by Lady Georgina, they looks set to have their own battle for the minor honours tonight. Samuel Charles is the best of the rest but he, in turn, may find Lady Georgina has his measure near the finish.
