      Verdict

      Yerevan is taken to get the better of Fairfield Princess and Brenin Gwalia in a small field but which nontheless is a tricky affair. A Kempton winner in April, Fairfield Princess has found one or two too good since but must have a chance here. She has plenty of pace and this sharp track may suit her although she has been unable to see her effort through recently. Brenin Gwalia deserves to win a race of this nature, is yet to finish out of the first three but is another who fails to quicken in the closing stages. He may find that lack of pace counting against him close home. Three time winner Yerevan is clearly progressive and won impressively at Leicester last time, coming through on the bit and scoring decisively. The handicapper appears to have erred in only raising the filly two pounds and Yerevan can win again.
