Verdict

LUCKY BEGGAR (NAP) stayed on strongly at Epsom eight days ago in a much better race than this. A win at Catterick a year ago came off a 3lb higher mark and David Griffiths’ sprinter can take the honours here. Silverrica had Edged Out behind when scoring at Bath last month but was well beaten behind Our Lord at that track last summer, though is 11lb better off. Zac Brown runs on Turf for the first time since last July but is the only course and distance winner in the line-up. Oeil De Tigre won over 6f here last time but on an easier surface and he’s never won off a mark this high.
