Verdict

Considering she’d finished second over a mile earlier, it was disappointing to see Meccabah outpaced stepped up to this trip at Chester. GRIEG HALL was beaten when odds-on at Chelmsford last month but the well-beaten third went close next time at Lingfield so the form may be better than it looked at the time. He’s given another chance ahead of Clemento, who is improving with experience but may do better when going handicapping.
