Michael Wigham is trying to strike while the iron is hot with Deeds Not Words but this is a better race than the one he won at Wolverhampton on Wednesday and he has a penalty. Other recent all-weather winners Curious Fox and Air Of York also have 6lb extra but Mad Endeavour has only been raised a pound for winning at Lingfield. CAPTAIN BOB (NAP) certainly wasn’t winning out of turn at Newmarket and a 2lb rise is negated by the fact that Jim Crowley takes over the reins on Robert Cowell’s consistent sprinter. Artscape is still unexposed and appeared to handle conditions at Nottingham last month so is also worth a second look.
