Mumaathel, Gulf Of Gold and Music by Mozart look the trio to concentrate on and our nod goes to Mumaathel. Marcus Tregoning's colt looked in need of the experience when seen out at Warwick but there was a lot to like about that effort. The market was pretty lively on that occasion and if the faces are back on board - due attention is applied. Gulf Of Gold cost the boys in blue $280 000 at the sales. A full brother to a useful nine furlong horse in the States - there is plenty of pace in the pedigree.Music By Mozart was a disappointment at headquarters last time out. The second in that race has gone to take a Nottingham maiden since but more is required here. Accompanist cost 100 000 guineas at the sales. John Gosden's newcomers sometimes need the run so the market will serve as an obvous guide. Chronomatic is the obvious yardstick for the race. He is beginning to look exposed at this grade but the handicapper has probably got him about right off a mark of 76. Mumaathel must have shown something on the gallops prior to his first run to attract such strong support and can make experience tell in a maiden that could be one for the notebook.
