This looks to be something of a collector's item as it is a sprint handicap and trainer David Nicholls only has one representative but his runner Buachaill Dona has an obvious chance and gets the vote to complete a hat-trick ahead of Loch Verdi and Azygous. The last mentioned has been running consistently well of late and again lost no caste in defeat at Newmarket last time but he may be booked for a place at best again. Matuza wears blinkers for the first time in the hope that they bring about the necessary improvement, while Terentia now looks to be in the grip of the handicapper. Glasshoughton is inconsistent, while Woodnook has gone up in the weights despite not winning and of more interest may be Andrew Balding's progressive Loch Verdi. Buachaill Dona has an obvious chance on recent form though and it looks significant that Nicholls relies on just him.
