In depth

Verdict

Saeed Bin Suroor has snapped up the in-form Cieren Fallon for GIFTS OF GOLD, a comfortable maiden winner at Salisbury and probably destined for better things. Mark Johnston has three entries with Ventura Knight, who ran very well in a much better race than this here on Tuesday, looking the pick with the experienced Phil Dennis on board. Perfect City won three times in France and was in contention when falling two out on his hurdling bow at Southwell while Harbour Spirit ran at Longchamp in June before a comfortable victory at Kempton. Wind In My Sails bounced back to form at Bath though this is much tougher as it is for Fortune And Glory, whose double was completed at a lower level.
