This looks wide-open as many of these have been beating each other on a regular basis and luck in-running always plays a part in big fields on the downhill 5f course here. Extortionist beat former winner Kingsgate Native, Wind Fire, Stepper Point and Hay Chewed in a Group 3 at Sandown last month and is a leading contender. Irish raider Take Cover beat G Force, Monsieur Joe, Kingsgate Native and Reroute in a Listed race at York last time and is another who should go well while Ladies Are Forever landed a Group 3 on the Knavesmire on her latest start, though that was over 6f. Tropics ran the race of his life to finish second in the July Cup and that is the best form on offer. But he also drops back a furlong and there is every chance that MOVIESTA will reverse Newmarket running here. The winner of this last year, Bryan Smart's gelding looks primed for a repeat having faced some stiff task this season with the speedy Hamza possibly the pick of the remainder.
