Verdict

Vera Verto has been in winning form over hurdles though virtually refused to race at Punchestown before ducking out at the last. LORD ERSKINE loves a stamina test having scored over this trip on heavy ground at Roscommon and over 1m6f at Listowel. He ran a fine race over 2m at the Curragh last time and his rider's claim is a massive plus. Chally Chute completed a double over the trip at the Curragh but is up 8lb and Intend, who was beaten half-a-length by him at Dundalk earlier, can reverse the places on these terms. Distant Chimes, four-times an all-weather winner for Sir Mark Prescott, looks capable of better than he's been showing but Molly's Gamble is up 10lb for a comfortable victory at Killarney.
