Rhythm King showed nothing in three maidens but was nibbled at in the market for a Gowran nursery and held on by a short-head from SUMMER SNOW. But the runner-up will be 2lb better off and her rider dropped his whip a furlong out so the positions should be reversed. Third-placed Duke Of Leggagh appeared to have had every chance and looks held. Malacanne made a promising nursery debut when well supported at Bellewstown while Colin Keane's presence on The Snapper is interesting as he rode Tic Tac Toe into third at Navan.
