Verdict

AIR COMMANDER never looked like getting to the winner at Gowran last month but normal progress can see him go one better. Mythology, who is mainly in the same ownership, couldn't hold off another Ballydoyle entry in Henry Longfellow at the Curragh but looks a major threat. Paddy Twomey's horses are unstoppable at the moment and the Sea The Stars newcomer Sea The Polaris cost 185,000gns at the Craven Breeze-up. Beauty Thunder stayed on nicely over 6f at Fairyhouse while Bid For Chester went into plenty of notebooks after his debut over 5f at the Curragh in March.
