Verdict

Diamond Hill, a maiden hurdle winner here a year ago, then landed a Listed race on the Flat on a return visit in September though was engaged in the 6.45 yesterday. His stable has six other entries with Paul Townend choosing Canardier, a smart hurdler who had problems with his jumping last season. Flooring Porter is 8lb higher than his victory at Gowran last week and this looks tougher while Sweet Home Chicago, runner-up here a year ago, will find this much harder than the handicap he won at Roscommon. PILBARA couldn't quite get to the winner over slightly shorter on Wednesday and has to compete off a 9lb higher mark. However, Emmet Mullins has booked 7lb claimer Simon Torrens and the five-year-old can get back on the winning trail. Flooring Porter appeared to need every yard of 3m at Gowran and has an 8lb penalty so Recent Revelations, whose neck defeat by stable companion The Very Man at Roscommon has been given a massive boost by the winner, can get into the frame for the younger brigade. Sky Marshal is one to note in the market.
