Beau Satchel, who won this in 2015 and 2016 and was sixth a year ago, arrives in top form having won at Dundalk earlier this month and is very well handicapped at his best. Alans Pride beat a huge field of handicappers on heavy going at the Curragh in May and has run well on quicker ground subsequently, though is 10lb higher. Dance Alone has been running well but was well beaten a year ago while HASSELNOTT is 1-25 though there are reasons to believe the latter can double his tally. He'd dropped to his lowest mark in a year when finishing very strongly at Killarney and, as he won't mind the conditions, he gets the nod. Ishebayorgrey is another who has won from higher marks though does better at Dundalk these days.
