Verdict

Certerach is comfortably the pick on official ratings and, though probably finding this on the short side these days, has the quality to make a bold bid to gain his first success since a Group 2 at Meydan last year. Chapter Seven hasn't won since 2012 and couldn't get near Order Of St George at Down Royal last time but Dark Crusader has performed with credit in Group class, though she would prefer some cut in the ground. GOOD TRADITION has only raced on soft going to date but was very impressive on his reappearance at Killarney in May and will have had this as his target. He'll need to improve against this better opposition but looks the type to go on to better things. Both Highly Toxic and the returning Weather Watch have useful form which makes this an interesting finale.
