Verdict
The very busy Blue Ridge Lane is 12lb higher than for his latest victory but remains in good heart, as we saw at Wexford on Saturday. RIDESTAN is improving fast and looks another for Denis Hogan. Conor Hoban rode him to victory at Killarney a couple of weeks ago then his trainer took over when sent over hurdles here on Monday where he produced another excellent display to finish runner-up to McKinley. He's still on a lowly mark and should continue his progress. Pirate Cove has only had five runs and looked certain to appreciate this sort of trip when staying on over 1m2f at Leopardstown. He'll be difficult to keep out of the frame while a three-year-old won this in 2012 and Jim Bolger's Gold Focus looks on a very handy mark on her first start over the trip. Knight's Parade, a winner in the UK for Amanda Perrett, is gradually getting his form back for Gordon Elliott and Joseph O'Brien is an interesting booking.
