Dermot Weld has won the last four and though STORM LIGHTNING doesn't look an obvious choice on form those who witnessed his run at Dundalk last month won't want to miss him. That was his first start since runner-up there in October and though eventually beaten 4l by Strike Action he was given an easy time when his chance had gone inside the final furlong and that will have brought him on for this. Catfromtherock has been going well at Dundalk and has no problems on Turf as he showed when fourth behind Homecoming Queen at Fairyhouse in September but it's a huge drop in trip for Hail, who last ran on Saturday at Wexford over 1m4f. Maude Adams hasn't done much wrong but it's Mona Brown who looks the main threat as she's been narrowly beaten by decent rivals on her two runs to date and will be winning soon. September Lily is also expected to go well after a very good effort behind Fionnuar at the Curragh.
