Arcland was staying on strongly when third in a 2m4f maiden at Punchestown so is certain to be suited by the extra. Monbeg Park, a winner between the flags and of a Cork bumper, has a tremendous pedigree for jumping and is one to keep an eye on. Winning bumper SAM'S CHOICE has been narrowly beaten in four of six starts over hurdles and was conceding 22lb at Downpatrick three weeks ago so should go one better. His experience may just count against the potentially-useful Affordale Fury, who scored between the flags at Ballycahane and reappeared with a convincing victory in a bumper here.
