Verdict

Gordon Elliott had three entered at the early stage and relies on Jack In The Box, who improved with every run earlier this year culminating in a victory at Naas. FAVORITE MOON, a smart stayer on the Flat for William Haggas, was impressive when landing a Downpatrick maiden on his hurdling debut and a recent run in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket might just give him the edge. French import Friendly Star is a chaser who looks to have been bought for cross-country races but Saint Bernadette has been racing over 3m and not quite getting home so this should prove to her liking.
