A high-class renewal with Felix Desjy and Aramon having fought out the finish of a Grade 1 at Aintree last year with both still in top form. Tudor City won this last year, his trainer's third victory in six years. He'll be primed for a repeat but an 8lb rise makes this more difficult. Willie Mullins has won two of the last four and has five entries plus two reserves this time. Paul Townend has chosen Buildmeupbuttercup, a winner on the Flat here a year ago before runner-up in the November Handicap at Naas and three fine runs in top handicaps over timber. David Mullins is on board Mt Leinster for the yard and his mount won on the Flat here on Monday. He's on a fair mark back over timber but, despite the claims of Felix Desjy, Aramax could prove best of the Gordon Elliott entries as he's only 4lb higher than when landing the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. WONDER LAISH will have been primed to perfection by Charles Byrnes and he beat Tudor City into second when landing a Grade A handicap at Fairyhouse in December 2018. He caught the eye on his return from a very long absence when third to Aramon and Petite Mouchoir in a Tipperary Grade 3 last month and it would be no shock to see him reverse the form. Hunters Call and Fair Mountain represent UK trainers and both arrive in fine form.
