Verdict
Braid Blue has won two bumpers and scored four times over hurdles, all on good going. He had DOCTOR DUFFY two lengths behind when narrowly beaten at Cheltenham in October but the latter has chasing experience having failed to hold the late challenge of Macgiloney over 3m1f at Roscommon. Karl Der Grosse disappointed in his last two starts over hurdles but will be expected to do better over fences while Demain Des L'Aube will have needed a confidence-booster on his comeback at Kilbeggan after last year's jumping problems. Chasing newcomer Court Maid won a bumper and has scored four times over hurdles.
