Jeremys Joy is a very useful handicapper on testing going so if the ground eases again he would be on the shortlist. BROKOPONDO is consistent at this level and would have an obvious chance on his second to subsequent Listed winner Arya Tara at the Curragh last month. He didn't get the run of the race at Fairyhouse last time and looks the one to be on. Shinghari looks as though he's been laid out for this by Dermot Weld. He's shown plenty of promise in three maiden runs over much shorter and he's bred to be a bit special at this trip. Nicaragua has gone up 11lb for an all-the-way victory at Gowran on Saturday and is undoubtedly well in with the selection on their run at Dundalk in November. The lightly-raced Smooth Operator makes his handicap debut and any money for him should be noted.
