Verdict

Plain Talking showed great resolution to hold off the gambled-on Sea Light over slightly shorter here on Wednesday and should go well again but a 7lb penalty in this better race may just prove too much. Gavin Cromwell also runs Elusive Ivy, who was brought down in the race won by Our Kylie here on Wednesday when well supported. Brian Ellison trained that winner so Totalize is respected after his victory in a strong handicap at Market Rasen while Grade 3 winner Moylisha Tim made a bold bid to make all over 3m at Tipperary and was only passed at the final flight by Marinero, who ran well here on Thursday. Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh won the big hurdle race here on Thursday and WESTERNER LADY can add to the champion trainer's impressive total at the Festival. She's very progressive and though up 11lb for her latest success over today's rival Ibsen at Killarney her rider had plenty up his sleeve and a hat-trick beckons. Delegate completed a double in novice company and was in touch when stumbling and unseating his rider in the race won by Bel Sas here on Thursday so connections will be looking for compensation. Some Hawk was around three lengths behind Plain Talking at Roscommon and the revised weights give him a good chance of reversing the places.
