Verdict

Patrick Mullins has won this twice in the past four years, though not for his father. He should put matters right here as he's on board PRINCE D'AUBRELLE, who has come up against a pair of useful performers in his two runs to date. He was beaten by one of Aidan O'Brien's many bumper winners at Roscommon last time and Ballydoyle saddle Lieutenant here, though he'll need to improve from a modest opening run at Cork. Moylisha Tim stayed on strongly over a longer trip at Kilbeggan so this looks on the short side while it's difficult to make a case for any of the remainder in a low-key finale.
