SILVER CONCORDE went to Leopardstown in January with a big reputation and started odds-on. He didn't appear too happy on the testing ground and could only finish third behind Jezki but the form of the race has worked out well and with progress expected he can gain Dermot Weld's fourth victory in recent years. Jim Bolger doesn't have too many bumpers but Cul Baire is bred for jumping and made a very pleasing racecourse debut at Punchestown in April and can only get better. Glenconkeyne didn't have much chance with Pique Sous at Bellewstown but that winner would be a short price here and Mervyn Torrens' charge is greatly respected. Clara Bel La started off with a decent effort at the Curragh and went to Roscommon with a favourite's chance but failed to last out the 2m4f and this is her trip for the moment.
