Verdict

EMANCIPATOR (NAP) landed a Clonmel handicap in style in April before failing to complete in two subsequent starts, falling when challenging at Punchestown and reported to be coughing when pulled up in the Killarney National. He reappeared with an easy victory over timber at Gowran and will take some beating here. Natural Look has been placed in three of four starts over fences and fell at the last when in the lead at Kilbeggan. She'll take advantage if the selection doesn't come up to scratch. Routine Excellence has some smart form to his credit but has pulled up in three of his last six runs, including in the race won by Old Soul at Punchestown in December.
