Verdict

Dermot Weld has a fine record in this and KEEP IN TOUCH (NAP) caught the eye in what looked a strong maiden at Naas. She'll have been earmarked for the race and gets the nod though there are plenty of dangers. Roman Hands made big strides from his debut to finish runner-up at Bellewstown, with Thunderbear just behind, despite running green, while Blue News was staying on strongly over Navan's extended 5f and this should be his trip. Mount King has a superb pedigree and is one to note having had a spin in a Dundalk barrier trial.
