Most of these arrive here in good heart including One Cool Tornado, a bumper winner at Sligo in July and a comfortable maiden winner over timber at Ballinrobe on Sunday. LISS NA TINTRI would probably have started favourite for that latter event but was withdrawn on account of the softish ground. Today's conditions should prove ideal for John Kiely's mare, who was in the lead at this trip when tackling three miles at Cork last time before overrun by the useful Ainama. Imperial Shabra landed a maiden at Kilbeggan last week and was by no means disgraced in a tough handicap won by the in-form Grangeclare Gold at Bellewstown on Thursday. Steeltown jumped well when successful over 2m3f at Kilbeggan and is certain to make progress but Kingsmoss and Bruach Na Mara both have a little more to do than for their latest victories.
