Duroob, who finished 11th in this a year ago, has improved dramatically and is now 14lbs higher in the weights. He should get competitive as should Fairwood Bob, who is reasonably well treated over timber and has been in very good form over fences. Hoopy was a long way behind Duroob at Roscommon last time but the fast ground was against him and today's conditions will play to his strengths. KING OF REDFIELD has improved since getting a stiffer test of stamina which he looks certain to have here. An easy success over this trip at Tipperary was followed by a good effort at Listowel where he was staying on strongly at the finish. He's not badly treated and gets the vote though any further rain would aid the cause of Rebel Chief, whose best efforts have come in similar handicaps with plenty of give underfoot.
