Verdict

Dermot Weld has won this an incredible nine times in the past 11 years and it will be a surprise if FONT OF WISDOM doesn't make it ten. A half-brother to several winners, he has shown enough in two starts to suggest more is expected and his trainer has found him a simple enough task. Jolie Jioconde is easily the form pick on last season's close third to Zoffany in a Leopardstown Group 3 but she's been well beaten this term, though both times on soft ground. The remainder have shown absolutely nothing so it wouldn't be a shock to see newcomer The Fourth Of May battling for the minor spot.
