Dundrum Lad had been chasing and reverted to hurdles on a much lower mark to score at Sligo last month when Effernock Lad was behind. He's 7lb higher but his rider's claim takes care of the extra and he should get competitive again. Banjo was making his handicap debut when a good third at Ballinrobe last month and should have made enough progress to make his mark while Canny Tom at last got off the mark on his 24th start over timber in a Tramore maiden. YOUNGNEDOFTHEHILL gained his first success at Ballinrobe last month and was staying on very strongly when runner-up at Bellewstown a couple of weeks later. He still looks on a lowly mark and can return to winning ways. Oskar High wasn't far behind Dundrum Lad at Sligo then appeared suited by stepping up markedly in trip to score at Killarney and looks on the upgrade while it's about time Lash It On was winning again and he looks a threat if the ground doesn't prove too testing.
