It's a surprise to see SHANESHILL entered here after a brilliant performance for an inexperienced chaser in the Plate on Wednesday when chasing home Balko Des Flos. He wouldn't be taking part unless over his exertions and this looks his for the taking. Stable companion Abre De Vie looked like reaching a minor berth until impeded by a faller in that race and like Road To Riches, who also ran in the big event of the meeting but couldn't get into the mix after being impeded, can finish closer. Ask Nile takes a step up in trip and class after making a successful chasing bow over 2m1f in a beginners' chase at Killarney though Ted Veale looks the more likely to take advantage if the trio who ran in the Plate suffer the consequences as he has run some tremendous races here in the past and a long absence shouldn't be a concern.
