In depth

Verdict

Blast Of Koeman and Kilcarry Bridge were engaged in the 4.45 here yesterday and the former in particular would have to be considered if taking part here. Show And Go is 2lb out of the handicap after being raised 8lb for a facile victory at Wexford though that was over the minimum which appears to be his best trip. Several of these ran here during the week including Rock The World and Calino D'Airy, who are both course and distance winners. The former's yard is also represented by the very consistent Woodland Opera, who has been struggling at the weights since landing a Grade 2 at Punchestown in November. LISTEN DEAR is making her handicap debut and returns after a very long break. She's a Grade 3 winner on testing ground and with her yard in unstoppable form at the Festival she's taken to defy the absence. The West's Awake just failed to concede Draycott Place 12lb at Listowel but could have done without a 3lb rise. Bel Ami De Sivola looks best of the remainder.
