SUB LIEUTENANT hasn't won since landing a Grade 2 at Down Royal in 2016 but he's run well on several occasions at a very high level including in the Plate here on Wednesday when an excellent fifth. He easily has the beating of Saturnus on that run though Ruby Walsh picks the latter over the 2016 winner Alechi Inois and Haymount, who were also behind in the Plate. Sandymount Duke has been a tremendous servant to Jessica Harrington winning ten races and had a run on the Flat at The Curragh last month to put him straight for this so he has to be a threat.
