The Ice Meister only had two rivals to beat in a Down Royal maiden over this trip and did it easily but failed to last out in an auction event over an extra furlong at Killarney. Initial ran very well when runner-up to Colour Rhapsody over this trip at Tipperary then just hung on when making all over 6f at Leopardstown. He'll be in the shake-up though TOSCANELLI came up against a couple of useful rivals on that track a month ago and, with further progress likely, can carry top weight to victory. Intense Style took advantage of heavy ground at the Curragh in May and was sent into Listed company at Naas a month later but finished five lengths behind the selection and is just 2lb better off.
