FOOT SOLDIER needs a thorough test of stamina as we saw here earlier this week when runner-up to Hidden Universe over 2m. He can race from the same mark today and, with a strong gallop likely, can go one better. Teochrios is stepping up to this trip for the first time and looks as though he'll be suited after a good run at Wexford a week ago, though the main danger may arrive in the shape of Whatever It Takes. Boots Madden's charge had been running well on the Flat and over hurdles before landing a Ballinrobe handicap hurdle last week and looks on a reasonable mark. Shake The Bucket also represents the stable and his run behind Strandfield Lady at Navan puts him in the picture. Teach Nua has already won twice at the fixture though the latest was in 2011. He's only had two runs in the past couple of years but his trainer will have him primed for this and he's on a very lenient mark.
