Verdict

The consistent Tony The Gent was fourth in this last year but had no answer when Master Speaker and Yuften went past at Killarney last time. The winner was returning to form though an 8lb rise makes this tougher while Wentwood, who finished fourth, also looks held. Waitingfortheday is up 6lb for winning at the Curragh but that was another fine run from the consistent filly and she should be in the shake-up. Honor Oak won this by eight lengths last year but shot up the weights. She won at Sligo in May but is 9lb higher than a year ago. Ciao, who has never won on Turf, could find this on the short side but KOYBIG is running so well that he can take this for David Marnane. He returned to Turf on a lowly mark and ran very well at Limerick before beating subsequent winner Minnie Haha at Killarney and Donagh O'Connor's claim can see him home.
