Equilibria has a decent weight and is the pick ahead of Cream Cracker, Flying Spirit and Wee Dinns. Gary Moore has got no less than three runners here in his bid to capture the day's feature event, and although both Nawamees and Flying Spirit can boast past course-and-distance form, it is Equilibria that catches the eye. Successful in a juvenile hurdle here last November, the four-year-old has been busy on the Flat this summer, and managed to land a middle-distance race at Chepstow under Richard Hughes in August. He then battled his way to victory back over hurdles at Fontwell later that month before taking part in a Flat race for jump jockeys at Goodwood three weeks ago. This is a competitive event, but off 10st 1lb he must surely go close. Cream Cracker has been very consistent and is out to get the losses back after his defeat at Uttoxeter. He looks a shade high in the weights at present but should go well. Wee Dinns has also gone up in the handicap and was well beaten at Newton Abbot last time, and so for the winner we return to Equilibria.
